Why Corps Stories?
Everyone's got a story from the classroom. Whether you were in the charter corps in 1990 and haven't taught since or you're in the thick of your Teach For America commitment right now, chances are your experience comes in isolated moments. Moments that made you laugh. Moments that fueled your passion for transforming our students' lives. Moments that cemented your outrage about the rampant injustices in the communities we serve. Moments that shifted the course of your life.
These moments matter. They make us who we are and continue to fuel the work we do—and they can help others when we share what matters. This is Corps Stories.
We plan to collect and share hundreds of stories from the classroom and hope that you'll join us in the effort by listening to stories, sharing them with others, and ultimately recording your own.
